200tdi starter solenoid

Would apprciate any advice on the started solenoid, mine keeps sticking, and i have to open the bonnet and tap it to get the starter motor to turn off! Which isnt realy doing anything any good. Can i replace the solenoid alone? I cant seem to find anyone who sells this solenoid on its own.

theres a good chance its gone all political and is just full of crap. try taking it apart and give it a good clean . dunt ferget to lub any moving parts

Cheers will do, if they get full of crap then mine will be... i couldent count how many times ive submerged it.

Might just be me being retarded, but i cant get it off. Wheres all the bolts? Do they come off on there own?

you'll have to remove the starter and do it on a bench.
