Hi All,

Trying to fix a starting problem. Pulled the ignition switch off and it looks like this. I'm assuming the missing wire could be my problem? Any idea what colour it is and if it's likely to be the problem? Doe the rest of them look correct too?

Thanks all!

Wes

im not sure your missing a wire but they arent all on right, browns battery live , white ignition feed position 2 white/orange ignition feed position 1,white/red starter feed, it looks like both ignition wires are on the same terminal
looks like its been bypassed or had immobiliser fitted at one time with gaps in insulation

Just checked the looms I've got from both a 200 and a td5, there are only four wires going to the ignition barrel. The spare terminal is on position two on the ignition so I can only assume it's just a spare ignition live. As James says it looks like those have been messed with, my immobiliser is taken off two of the wires so that would be the most likely explanation for the dodgy wires

Great thanks all. They had insulation take around them but I had to take it off to see what was going on!
Back off outside now then!

yes as browns battery live, and it might help to just have brown fitted and check which terminals become live at each position in order white/orange , white , white/red
