Sorry if answered many times before.

My parking sensors are currently innoperative, presumably because 1 is faulty (or controller module is duff, but i'm goinf for the easy/cheap option first).

I want to buy one and then start swapping the sensors one by one unitl hopefully they all start working again.

Looking online some sellers seem to indicate there is just 1 type which will fit front or rear, some other sellers are asking me to specify exactly which sensor lin which location is not working.

Are all sensors the same, or are they different depending on front/rear and position on bumper?

Thanks

Lrcat shows a couple of part numbers depending on chassis number.
Click on the pic of the FL2 then the electrical equipment section.
Click on the blue numbers & the part number will appear in a box at the bottom.

Avoid cheap aftermarket sensors, they often don't work at all.
If you put a suitable diagnostic reader on it, it'll tell you exactly what sensor is causing the issue. ;)

I believe if the sensor is working you should feel a pulsing if you put your finger on it, so the one that does not pulse is faulty,

My FL2 sensers make a clicking sound when you put yer finger on them. You can also feel them pulsing. Yer need the engine running to do this. In neutral and stationary will do.

My front sensors are detecting something in close proximity all the time, and one of the sensors is crooked in the bumper, so I think it's seeing the edge of the recess. However if it's raining, the sensors work correctly, which is odd.
