You need them to point forward in such a way where the sound waves don't quite touch the ground. Normally aftermarket sensors are slightly offset to one side, so they can be adjusted to a suitable location.

Ok i understand that.
What about the location on the bumper?
Thank you
I'd put them evenly spaced so they are on a slightly downwards angle, just below the vertical centre section of the bumper. I did look into fitting front sensors to my FL1 facelift, but got the FL2 so didn't.

I think your gonna have to put them on the coloured part of the bumper. Below the fogs and either side of the number plate but as near to the bottom of the coloured part as possible.

Thank you...
What you think if it was like this....(of course on the lowest we can go)
Or even just the two on black part of bumper.
Thank you

I think the wheel arches are too far back and would make them useless unless your using them for side impact warning.

Was having a look at mine and I think you could get them here?

Wiizard I like that ideia.... But dont you think so low they would be pointing down, meaning......if the obstacle is higher it will not detect or at least with the correct distance?
What you think of this way.....best of both worlds !!?? Being the upper one close to the edg,e close to the license plate?!

Yeah I think that looks like the best plan so far! At least you'll have the corners and the front covered. I don't think it will matter if they're not all in the same line.

Generic sensors have all sensors calibrated to the same characteristics. Factory sensors normally have different characteristics based on fitted location. I think your initialocation picture is spot on, and very similar to the FL2 sensor placement.

I guess you are right but i really dont want to drill on the painted bumper
i will test them then drill them.... i stiill go with the las option...i will test an see.
Its strnage no one ever fit them...
Once again ty..

It was the FL2 that gave me idea for that location.

Before you go drilling holes, maybe try and find a way to "stick" them to the bumper in different configurations and then get someone to walk around the front and see which location works best.
