Hi to all
Since yesterday I have been having suspension fault messages flash up on the dash, then followed by do not exceed 30mph. also it will not go into access mode.if I pull over turn the engine off,it resets its self. I have taken out the spare tyre and looked at the exhaust compressor muffler and it is the whole style without the 3mm holes drilled in it. The question I would like to ask you all is it safe to start the engine and try to rase and lower the suspension with the exhaust compessor muffler removed? As I think this might be the problem?
We are living in France at the moment and are leaving back to the uk next Friday,to get parts in the south is a 72hr process!
All help would be much appreciated
Thank you
Donald

You can its only an outlet for air will be considerably louder tho what you think its blocked not allowing escaping air if so can't you clean it with soapy water.

I took it off this afternoon and it seem to be full of some kind of dried blue powder,I will remove it again tomorrow and try the suspension with out it fitted, hopefully that is the problem. I really don't fancy a 1400km drive on Friday with dodgy suspension!
Thanks for posting

That don't sound good pop over to the range rover section sounds like somthing is breaking up like an air dryer if its like the p38 air dryers it can breake down to a powder and affect the air system

The powder that is blocking the filter is from the dryer. There is a repair kit that is easy to fit. Silencer RQV500040 Dryer VUB504700 Retaining clips ESR2928 x2

Thanks too all who have replied, sorted now,it need a new air compessor muffler, running it at the movement without one,(after speaking with a range rover tech). Now we can start the 1250km drive back to the uk.
Thanks again :crazy_driver:
