L322 2004 vogue armrest loose

Hi everyone, just quick one, is there a way to tighten the arm rest? My passenger one is solid, as in try and wiggle it and the whole seat moves but drivers one as bit of left to right play, up and down is fine.

Does the arm rest just pull off? Like on a clip? Can’t see any other way and unlike some can’t see a cover for bolt head etc.

Sorry, I just realised you are talking about an L322 so I have no idea.

Think the mech is on the side of the seat behind cover.
The armrest is held on with a grub screw between the armrest and seat back in the gap.
Difficult to see as the manual says "put protective tape on so not to damage"
That maybe loose but.

Great stuff! Will have a look see what I can’t sort.

All sorted. For anyone else’s benefit, if your sat in the back nearside seat looking at the side of the armrest, the t27 grub screw is roughly at 2 O clock position, push flat screwdriver in about 3 o clock from the back of the seat between plastic cover and arm rest and lever apart then push in torx driver and aim toward the seat and you’ll feel it, mine just needed nip up and it’s solid again.

Sudden flashbacks of removing my entire centre console just to respray the bit at the back that peels,

I'll always be indebted to @backinblack for advising me how completely unnecessary my labours were because there is a simpler less blood letting way to get said part off...

of course, he only spoke up AFTER the fact !
