Afternoon
Bit of a long one I'm afraid but I'll try to keep it brief.
My engine failed back in December 2019 (204k on the clock as suspect cracked head as sump was full of derv)
Decided to have a recon engine from Turners installed as it's my works vehicle and does a lot of towing.
When I picked the vehicle up it felt really down on power (Stage 3 package fitted around 8 years ago and used to pull really well) Put this down to being a new engine but after 6000 miles there was no difference.
Took it to Alive HQ to get dyno readings on their rolling road. First run was 110bhp! Installed original LR map and it was putting out 77bhp! Fuel pressure reading were all over the place so suspected the injectors. I've since had these replaced, but it's made no difference.
So far we've replaced - fuel filter, air filter, turbo, MAF sensor and most recently the injectors but no joy
It's really painful trying to tow our tractor (or anything to be fair!!) Any thoughts on where to look next?
I'm hoping to get the fuel pressure read again shortly but work is a tad manic!!
I'd be really grateful for your thoughts
