I don't really want to sell this car as it's too good to sell! But it's off the road awaiting my wife to pass her test and it will cost her a lot to insure. It's done 140k miles but is a superb example. Few issues with it. Not all the doors lock and unlock on the fob. Guessing it the mechanism. Screen has a big crack but just going to wait for mot. Recent new tyres on the front. It's had the prop removed as the vcu is knackered. I have it and all the fittings to go with it. I'm in Suffolk so if anyone's interested let me know. I'd like £1100 for it but don't really know what they're worth.

I would target your price slightly lower or could sell for spares and repairs. Then again you could SORN the vehicle before the MOT failure on the crack window. Then slowly get the repairs until the wife officially passes. The Prop issue can be a false flag where the VCU being knackered could also have buggered the IRD unit. This has to be reported for insurance purpose if going the permanent route without props and vcu. Mine is the same like a few on here too have the props and vcu removed. Door locks are fiddly but doable to replace but the driver door is the awkward one and can be the expensive one if failed. Make sure the driver door can be open with ignition key first then check which doors fail to open. Test the tailgate window can drop ease with remote fob when stand near the door lock. Then return up with the ignition key inserted turned right. The Freelander is a robust wagon even without the props.

OK cheers. It's a tdi 5 so decent engine. I bought it for 1000 and the body has no marks or scuffs anywhere!! Think I might keep it! Think I might leave the prop off as my wife won't be going off road!! Just taxiing kids about!!
