Hello all

Well after finding a really great Discovery , I have to sell it as a Defender 300tdi has turned up and I’ve been after one for a while now.

I bought this Disco a couple of weeks ago and it’s a really good one, 1 previous owner 117k miles and a great service history.
Comes with 10 months mot and new T&C seat covers on the front

So far I’ve found
ACE has been properly deleted ( dummy pulley fitted etc)
Air con has a worn through hose and needs a recharge

Other than that it’s all A1

Chassis is great, repair some to rear rail bottoms ( fine but not to my standard)
Body is superb. Again, one repair inside rear door ( not to my standard but perfectly fine)

Drives great , handles great and has a recent set of Geolanders fitted

Looking for decent offers as it has to go.

I loved the Defender myself and had them for years before my first Disco 2. I have though found that the Disco 2 is far superior to drive, its so much more comfortable, the heater works 100x better and the TD5 is a stonking engine. I would find it hard to go back to a Defender, though I appreciate they appear to hold a good price and the Tdi is simple to run, needing none of the nanocom support the Disco 2 does.
That Disco you have looks and sounds, from your description, to be a good one. Just curious therefore why you are chasing a Defender instead.

You’re not the first to ask that today.
I’ve been after a 300tdi 110 for ages and this one just popped up out of nowhere when I wasn’t even looking.

5 cars is too much , so,,

If I end up keeping it I won’t be heartbroken
