Hi All, any ideas why my fuel pump solenoid looses power when I crank engine but has 12v when ignition switch on ?

is it fed from the wrong post on ignition switch,or faulty switch, or do you mean theres a large voltage drop

It looses all voltage so engine won’t start, spent hours trying to bleed pump. No wonder poor thing wouldn’t start. Ran a wire directly to battery and started first go.

Ignition now wired correctly and works perfectly.

Now you have found the fault you know how to wire in a kill switch.

Yeah and hide it in plain sight and that should deter some of the light fingered nocturnal visitors.
