Hello,
Bit of a cheek really joining a Land rover forum with a LDV question - but I used to have a series 111 swb which I had to sell when I moved here to France. I need headlights for an LDV Pilot van for rhs driving and they are very difficult to find. I have seen a couple of references to them being the same as those fitted to early (200 tdi?) discos. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks,
Roger

Try asking on here, there's a man who knows all about LR's and LDV vans

I heard that the very early models used the van headlights, but only for the first 2 or 3 years of production.

Certainly early Discoveries used Sherpa van headlights (if I remember rightly the Discovery ones were cheaper!) but that was long before the days of LDV (early 90's)

Millions of rusty sherpa vans about, they are the same as early Discos 1, becareful that they come without rust though.

regards

Dave

The LDV Pilot lamps will definitely not fit - they have sloping front ends on them - fitted from 1997 on. The earlier 1989 - 1996 Leyland Daf 200 ones are what you are looking for - they are the flat fronted ones. Not sure whether they fit the 200 Tdi though.
