Ive just finished my 200di conversion into my series 2, ive found the noise of the engine drowns out the noise i had from the gearbox, so yes its noisy, also at 55mph the engine is screaming so 45mph is much nicer........as i dont have overdrive, what difference will it make fitting the disco difffs ?
Apart from noise im a very happy bunny.
I also fitted whilst off the road new headlights, spot lights and heated windscreen ( in the glass type, brilliant ) and new seats so well happy, also the disco engine gives off better heat for the interior.

it will be a lot better ,check reaf axle case for a filler /level pluga as later 10 spline diffs wont have one in the diff housing
