Anyone knoew if you need to fit extended brake pipes for a 2" lift? If so does anyone know where you can get just the pipes? All the onse I have seen appear to be in kits.

Cheers

most likely OD, but i wouldnt risk it - yu dont want brake failure when yu is in a place likely to over-extend ya pipes, now do ya? An the braided hoses give better protection from shap rocks n stuff.

I fitted a 2" lift to mine about 3 months ago. I didnt NEED to fit them as there was just enough to keep them slack on full drop. I changed mine anyway cus they came with the kit.

I guess it depends on the shocks you are fitting and whether or not they allow your springs to dislocate and drop the axle more then normal. Most kits dont actually drop more more than the original ones do. So no need.

But like someone else said for the cost of them you may aswell replace with braided ones while you have it in bits!

im not running extended hoses. it depends how far your 2" lift goes. if its spacers or new springs/dampers then you shouldnt need it. if its got castor corrected radius arms, trailing arms and the springs are allowed to dislocate... i suggest you get the extended hoses! best bed is to jack it with a hi-lift until the wheel is well clear of the ground and see how much stretch its at.

Richard at mill services makes the brake pipes to any length in any colour. speak to him about your needs/setup and im sure he can accomadate.
