Looking for some assistance all,
I thought I was being clever when I bought a wreck of a 1973 Series 3 109 pick up with an excellent galvanised chassis. I already had a 1975 Series 3 109 1 ton with an excellent body but rotten chassis and have set about swopping the chassis over. The good S3 has a 2.25 4 pot petrol engine and the shot s3 had a 4 pot diesel. All was going well. The chassis has been removed from the '73, cleaned and painted. The axles have been swopped from the '75 and today I set about the engine replacement and here it hit the rocks. I had removed the 4 pot diesel because it was seized. I tried to fit the 2.25 petrol into my newly painted chassis and the engine mounts don't line up. I am assuming the chassis side engine mounts on the diesel chassis are different to the petrol 4 pot chassis I have scraped ? Does anybody have a work around before I take a grinder to it please ?

Update..... Spoke to the very helpful chaps at Richards Chassis today, turns out I have a bracket missing. Much searching required on the garage floor required !!!
