cheers in advance for your respons:) es

I'm about to put a new engine in my S3. I asked a very similar question. Which would be the best diesel. People on here say go prima turbo conversion. This makes sense as it is a popular conversion - 30mpg+. They can also be modifed, up to around the 130bhp mark. They're reliable and powerful engines. This is a cheaper job to do than a similar transplant with a nicely reconditioned 2.25 petrol - Is yours a 2.6? depends on personal preference i guess.. A prima will be significantly more economical.

they also run a bosch fuel pump, which means you can run a twin tank heated vegetable oil conversion - A little ingenuity (we're land rover owners, that's our job tbh) and you can do this to great effect, for about £150. You start on diesel, then convert to your nice £0.50 per litre vege oil, which is legal to pay no duty on till you've used 2500 litres. This, with a prima conversion, I presume your 2a is also going to be tax exempt - cheap insurance too. V.Cheap, V.good landie. Now Military spec vehicles are a bit different to civvy ones - i've never had a ex-mod one so hopefully one of the experts will come along and tell you if it'll fit... :D
