1st time Landy Owner

Just purchased my first landy and loving it. Living in London and it’s a beast on the road. Any advice/hits and tips for a newbie getting around?

Hi Neilly,

Cheers. loving how every other Landy driver waves when you pass them. Puts a right smile on my face, girlfriend thinks I’m mad.

Was more just a general question about driving really (got a little excited and didn’t know what to post)

Bought the below and had a few things done to it so far.

Stainless steel bolts (heard they were essential)
New wheels and Tyres
New grill and vents
New side steps

Wanting to get the roof in black and black wheel arches and a led lighting upgrade and new speakers.

Any idea of some good easy to fit speakers?

Welcome - First thing to buy is security products, forget all the blingy stuff.

Above my pay grade, I'm afraid.

However seems they are very attractive to thieves, so most advice is to get as much as you can afford

not unless you want it to be crushed!

if you want mud, look for pay and play sites, do NOT travel on green lanes.

Join GLASS, or look on Facebook and find some local greenlaning groups and go out with them.

Ref the security, it is all layers.

Stop the oik who will steal it and then burn it.
Stop the Guy who will steal it to strip it and sell the bits.
Stop the Guy who will steal it and give it a new ID.
Stop the guy who will steal it and put it in a container to somewhere else.

Looks brilliant, shame it's classed still as a van, but still nice if u want a second vehicle to a main one.

if you are looking to rag it up in mud, then green lanes (or open fields) are not for you.
