'Driven from the UK to France with no issues'.....easy done via the ferry. Might need to have undertaken a bit more of a challenge to convince me...:D

Has the same dents as in the pic on this page from 2012 which mentions it being for sale...

Was on a forecourt in Kent for sale at £11K with 30k miles on the clock - don't know when...

According to this, looks like it may not have taken part in the event (assuming he is talking about the car)... edit: scrub that he was talking about LR pulling out.

Presume it is a genuine car prepared for the CT though as there's lots of pics of R586HAb out there to which is also a CT car.

And those are for accessories only. Interior scrap, engine no value.
Outside it also looks like it was involved in a drive by gang shooting.
Rare but really.

Thats the sort of thing i bid on a Sunday after 12 cans of lager then going on Ebay:eek:
Then when i sober up i realise i have foooooked up and have to grovel to get them to cancel the transaction o_O

As its a Camel car its got to be worth a few grand.

The classic cars of our youth that you couldn't give away 20 years ago are worth loads now (think any Ford, Triumph etc), the sports cars of that time were worth a bit but are now worth mega bucks (think e-Types, 911s etc). They're worth loads because there are so few of them and they are collectible.

Modern cars are built in the millions and the sports cars by their 10s of 1,000s - they're not going to be worth as much as the 'old' classics.

These Camel prepared cars are genuine limited runs, so I recon they'll be collectible and worth of good money. Maybe not now, but in the future. I found that other one that's for sale he refers to in the ad and its in good nick. That I recon is worth some decent cash. This one is in poor condition and not worth the £15k, but its got to be worth a few k.

The roof rack is worth a few hundred quid (I stll fancy the contoured G4 rack), but the vehicle has had the **** kicked out of it over the last 20 years. As to rarity value, that's difficult to say, as it's down to the buyer to decide if it's worth taking a risk on it. Personally to me, it's a ****ed out L series FL1, with some bolt on goodies fitted.

Yeh, I don't know about locking wheel nuts, you'd want that roof rack welded to the chassis so it doesn't get nicked :D

I'm not so sure on those front recovery points. Those 2 bolts through to the bumper don't really look up to the job - especially not a snatch.
