Hello
Could anyone please shed some light on something that I have been trying to determine for quite a bit of time ? More specifically what brand shock absorbers were used by the Land Rover factory in 1997 (I assume its the same regarding previous model years) on the Discovery 1s. Was it Armstrong, Boge or Monroe ?
Let me know ! Thank you in advance ! ;)

I know the RRC used a Boge self leveling unit on the back.
Every LR shock I've seen (D3/D4/RRS/FL1/FL2 has Delphi on then label, or stamped into the casing. Delphi were and authorised supplier, although they could well have had shocks from Boge too.
Although what is on there isn't nearly as important, as what is going to be on there. ;)

Yep from the L322 onwards they used Delphi Components, the same as most Fords.
Pre 2002 they used Boge Dampers on the RRC P38 D1 and D2 ;)
