1995 disco window help!!

Hi all got a problem with my window my electric window on my disco its dropped about 2 inches so leaves a lovely cold breeze coming in I'm guessing this isn't a land rover safety feature to keep you alert on long journey.as well as the gap the window goes down but when you try and put it up it justs jerks and shudders.

Yeah it's the front window what's that a motor??

no its the regulator, motor operates it to open/shut windows ,the bend then break ,very common

google the number corresponding to the side you need £15 ish

this time of year I run lots of silcon or oily WD type stuff down my window channels.
might not be your cure but might help.
the reason I do mine, more so after likes of the very windy period, is we get salt & fine sand blown in the most unbelieveble places,
I also use the fine red straw of WD cans to squirt in all my locks too.


all works just fine for myself..

its the usual cause , you might want to order some of these too mwc9134

It's not only jerky it gets about half way to and stops then gotta slide he window up by hand

found out why mine finally packed up ......

load of rusty water in the motor !!



what's all that about ???
