‘H’ reg 1991 Range Rover Classic Vogue SE 3.9 petrol. 179k miles. Ardennes Green. The paintwork is pretty good considering the age, with some scratches on the sides as well as rusting on the bonnet. The interior is pretty good too, though there’s the sagging in the roof lining that is usual with Range Rovers of this age.

The vehicle is currently declared SORN and has been since we got a new vehicle in 2006. Before that it was the family car and used daily, always kept in good condition and regularly serviced. It was in full working order when declared SORN, with no problems.

Some details:

  • Pretty complete service history. Main dealer stamps in official booklet until 2000, bills thereafter; MOT certificates, reports etc. V5 document present.
  • A removable Overfinch rear-facing seat bench (see picture) in the boot was professionally fitted, with 3 point seat belts. These are very rare for Classics!
  • A Clifford Concept 50x alarm, Thatcham 1 approved. Manual, documents and 2 key fobs.
  • The original owner’s manual; spotless official parts manual; grubby Haynes service/repair manual.
  • 5 good tyres, little wear.
  • Some general surface rust and paint bubbling, as would be expected.
  • There’s quite a lot of rust on the tailgate, as is usual for Classics. Also on the rear left wheel arch, visible by passenger door.

All in all a decent condition vehicle given the circumstances; a good restoration project.
Viewing is encouraged, any time to suit.
The purchaser will have to take the vehicle away on a trailer, as it’s SORN and not running.

Located in Monmouthshire, Wales.
£500 ono. We'd like to see this go to a good home!

If the sills and boot are the same condition as the bonnet and tailgate, then this is a project vehicle. I like it, but the price is very steep!

You could buy one with MOT and tax in 'serviceable' condition for £850. I'd honestly love to buy it for £400, but I can't afford it atm anyway after christmas sodomised by bank account + my girlfriend would rip me a new one :)

If you need as much money as possible for it, then put it on ebay. They're popular, so you'll have multiple people bidding, and so you're going to get the money it deserves.

I'll have it for free if you just want rid of it :)

Aye, best bet is ebay. Either that or get MOT n Tax and it'll be worth a lot more.

A RR Classic without MOT n Tax is assumed full of rot and all the usual. Mine was £420 with a month mot and the owner saying it will flop the next MOT big style.

Hi all, the overfinch bench has been sold separately; therefore I am reducing the price.

Offers around £500, any more pics or details needed just ask!
