Hi all so the yoke went for mot and came back needing a few bits. Ine of which is swivel bearing play on the passenger side.

Been looking for a kit but cant find one to do that year, can someone point me in the right direction?

I also undestand its a ballix off a job so while im in there is it worth while going the full way and changing the housing/ball and doing wheel bearings too ( bearings seem ok tho)

Any tips on how to make the job handier would also be appreciated!

Thanks for your help
Bill

No idea if this will help but it worked for me....

If you have either serial number for the car or the number off the front axel (bugger of find), that would help and don't use the cheap bearings that come with the kits, they really are dreadful.

its a swivel bearing lower and rialko bush upper
da3167 with chrome ball
da3167p sane kit without chrome ball
da2211 for just pin kit

It's not too bad a job really. Take it easy and you'll get there eventually. The main thing to struggle with are all the bolts that are likely to have rusted themselves in situ. While you have things apart, it's a good idea to replace as many seals as you can too. Here's me doing mine. It starts with the back axle, but scroll on down and I get on to the front later on. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/axle-refurbishments.272149/
