110 Spotlight issues

Hi all,

my first time posting with a problem.

I'm wiring a pair of Spots to be linked to the high beam., I've followed the Wipac wiring instructions but still no joy...i've confirmed there is power coming into the relay from 1) the battery(via 15a blade fuse) and 2) High Beam headlight.

When the high beam is switched off i get .3v reading on 86 and 12v on 30. When i switch on the high beam i get near 12v on 86 and 0 on 30....but zero on 87 to the Spots.

Any help in what i'm doing wrong or what may be the problem?

Tried a diff. relay?

does the relay click when you put main beam on.
main beam input/ then to earth
live in (from battery)/ to lights .
do the lights work when you connect to the battery feed
