Hi does anybody know if they have changed the part number/ assembly of the camshaft sensor?

The part number i took of mine is NSC100930M

And has sensor and lead in one unit.

*UPDATE* Sorted mine out today.

Old part number Rover NSC100930M

New part number ( you have to buy both parts)

Sensor NSC000310
Fly wire adaptor YSB002390

Also a few (not all of the vehicles this sensor is fitted to)

MG MGZR
ROVER 25 1.1, 1.4, 1.6i Year 2000 Onwards
ROVER 45 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 115, 200 Year 2000 Onwards

Can we remake old cable from sensor NSC100930M to NSC000310?

Not to sure on that seemed different to me. had a few other freelander issues since then and i have slept so forgot all about it.

Cheapest way around it is to buy old style sensor from breakers yard/online

Are your camshaft seals ok?
I ask this as i found/guessed that was the original cause of the camshaft sensor and lamdba failing. It was spitting lightly oil onto the connector plugs making them fail. Pretty un-noticable untill i removed the blanks covering end of camshaft
