1.4 transfer box wanted near hampshire

Im after a 1.4 transfer box if anyone has one near basingstoke if anybody has one for sale thanks

??????????? low range is the same. and a 1.221 will give you better mpg on the motor way

Fitting larger tires so want to change the transfer box to accommodate. The auto struggles a bit already

Yes that could be a issue and a good reason. make sure you got a good working transmission cooler. and a trans temp gauge

If you are going over 32" a 1.4 box is a must

Definitely a good idea to fit a temp sender in the transmission to keep an eye on oil temps

The only thing that kills autos is heat, bad oil or both

Is there a simple place to fit one? Im guessing any oil temp sensor and guage doesnt need to be specific. Yea they measure 33.5 apparently so definitely want to change it.

Yep and oil cooler not working or big enough, or 2 small a torque converter.

t/box has a plug on passenger side that takes temp sender ,auto box uses sender in pipe near cooler

I recently welded a boss in auto box sump of friends car, hoped that would give pretty accurate reading of overall oil temp...

I gots one in Chippenham you can have. I might also be able to get it to Salisbury. I will get you some pics tomorrow if you like.

Came off my landy at 130k miles (not sure if this is how many it has done). Drives the same as my new one which has done 30k miles.

that will, but what has been said is a temp gauge for torque converter also
