Yeah, 10mm each side is a bit much .. there's a nut on a captive stud on top so you can make up a bracket to bolt it to the roof guttering, then maybe just stuff the gap up with foam, something like a campers sleeping mat ... ;)

I've used the stuff (campers sleeping mat) for all sorts of things, it's waterproof, light, easy to cut and shape, very good insulation for caravan walls .. lovely stuff .. ;)
keep hold of it paul and i'll av a look next time we meet up... which i hope aint gonna be too long

I seem to have spent the last few days chasing problems. I'd cleaned up my drums and fitted new shoes as I had a brake imbalance at the MOT. Also had to replace the rear flexi hose as part of the MOT fails.

Of course, when it came to bleed the brakes, both nipples on the front cylinders were seized solid. Replacing the cylinders meant removing the flexi hoses - of course one of those was seized, so I ordered 2 new ones. Removing the flexi hoses from the brake pipes resulted in both of those snapping off.

I think after 7 months of ownership of Jarvis, I only now really know what owning/running a series landy is about - for better or worse! :D

Today I replaced the broken brake pipes. Have to say that it took me several attempts to get a half-decent flare using the flaring tool - is there a knack to it or am I just cack-handed?

Bolted inner wing up, refitted me oil cooler under the wing (dont ask), bolted the header tank and p/steering resevoir back on, rad top mount back on, and started fitting rubber arch but ordered wrong size plastic clips (too small) any one know where to get the big ones from please ?
