ffs BoB - we have had this discussion many times - if their is corrosion with 12" of the brake servo its an MOT failure - so the ns wing is OK - the OS isnt - if MOT peeps see fibreglass they will go over it with a fine toothcomb. rewelding the inner wings is pretty easy (albeit time consuming)

Yep, I had the area round the brake servo welded for its last mot.....that was ok, but I did get an "advisory" about the other holes, which is why I wondered if fibreglass would be acceptable.........me, not having a welder

If you plan on keeping the car, get yerself a welder and learn how to use it, if your inner wings are going, so will a whole lot of other stuff on the car... sills, body mounts, battery boxes, boot floor, c pillars....
It will pay for itself, and once you've had one you'll wonder what you ever did without it..!
