Just had a call from the Grease Monkey, £720 for all the work, which, considering all thats been done, I don't think is too bad, I mean everyone need to earn a living and since he is local, why not support him!


No doubt the Godsquad will be in here in a bit to tell me I am being ripped off but to be honest, £720 is a tiny amount to pay to know that my car is safe, reliable and doesn't end up in an unnecessary road death!!!

he's got a L reg Disco 200tdi (which is prolly worth about 500 quid)

and he's spending 720 quid on a few bits for it

a fool and his money ..........

and as fer giving the impression it's being serviced regularly by a qualified mechanic .....

"November and I got a mate to do the fuel/air and oil filter in March for me"

"I changed the air and fuel filter last week but haven't had the chance to do the oil filter or oil change"

"I am doing an oil change and filter change on Sunday"

"Right, just finished the brakes, started them at 2 PM!"
