on my disco it says landrover special vehicles under the side repeaters and also on a plate under the bonnet. is this on all discos? whats it all about?

It means that your vehicle is not a standard build. Instead it was passed to the special vehicles team to have some modifications done prior to being registered.

My 110 is a special vehicles.

there should be a build number and the batch number of that build if more than 1 was specified on the plate.

You may be able to contact the special vehicles department and ask them what the specification was.

no not a commercial its a 3 door 7 seater 200tdi, nothing special about it that ive noticed lol.

just checked nothing there, im not to bothered if they have put them on or if there from standard, as long as car starts and drives im happy, was just curious as to why it had them there.
