There's no way I'd spend £4000 on a 1985 td 110.:eek::eek::eek:

I only paid £3500 for my 1999 TD5 110.:cool:

thats bloody stonking though! i have been on the lookout for a little while - i need a decent 110 SW that will keep going - will be doing some miles and offroad. that had the kit i want to put on it which is nice.

how many miles was your 1999 110?

oh and also - does anyone have any good sites for finding decent value ones?

Nope couldn't agree more He's obviously tried to tune it up and get some extra power out of it as he's adjusted the fuel pump and fitted an intercooler? Also why take the pistons out to check them and not fit new rings while they were out??

He's painted the chassis, Well whoopy doo Question is what's he trying to hide.?
2 of the tyres are bald or very nearly there.
And you can't export it to the states until it's at least 25 years old so 2010 at the earliest. and it'll cost you grand to get it out there and only the V8's fetch the top money of around $10k or so. £4k + £1k to ship is $7,200 so you're not going to make an awful lot on that sale,

In summary it's a £2k car that's had a 1" lift?? and a steering guard fitted. and he tuned a very unstable engine, that was already straining to fill the role it was designed for in std trim.

112k on a td is anything but attractive.:eek::eek::eek:

You'd be better off spending £2000 on a newer dog of a 110 csw and then spending the other £2000 doing it up into exactly what you want.;)

hmm you reckon. will i will keep my eyes peeled for alternatives!

have you got msn mate?

im really needing a 110 though

well thanks for the pointers all - will keep on looking!
