admitted they went wrong with that engine but the earlier stuff that i have had the privilage to take apart are fantastic even after 200k my old car engine was like new inside.
v8's arnt **** if they're looked after, i've got one that hasnt and it is **** but my old one had done 150k seviced on the dot everytime and was the smoothest i have ever come across, still with plenty of power too.
I only went down the bmw route because i had never seen it done before and know they are good engines. in my opinion they do work well in a landy, obviously the bigger engines. i have only seen a couple since i did mine but they all work well.

No probs BoB. Yu need to fit 3 new gas tanks. 1 for NoZ, 1 fir hydrogen & 1 for Oxygen. You then need to inject them all into yo enjin in the rite proprtions and yu will have an HHo LPG V8 with NoZ. First big crash and it would go like a rocket. Say hello to Ming on the way past.

Kinellers Bob!
What you thinking of doing is gonna leave bits of gearbox and halfshaft all over the highway.......
Aint yer V8 quick enough??

Morning Tigger, long time no see!!

I did hear that your obtaining an MOT has been problematic, what took so long??

My life is upside down/complicated at the mo but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

only problematic cos the quote to get it through was just under a grand and I decided to do it myself.. saved a coupla hundred quid and got the ticket yesterday... now I just wanna get it muddy again :D

sorry to hear you been through it.. you need to get out and get muddy more often I reckon :D

So what was so bad with yours that the quote was a grand??
When I last seen your Landy on the newbies trip it was running ok, apart from the manifolds chuffing a bit.
And I'm just starting to go through it, a knock on effect from last years upset but things are amicable and that's how it should be.
Summed up in one word really......NEXT!!!!
I am still getting out and muddy but my free time is, erm, being taken up in other ways at the mo. ;)

apart from the PAS box which I couldn't get out so gave up and paid the garage to do it..

first time I've done discs and seems the discovery is harder than the average to do.. but I degreased, cleaned and re-greased my hubs while I was at it so quite satisfying.. the sensor was the easiest..
