the lask car i drove with a 'locked' diff (it was welded) was a volvo 360 and that had anything but understeer

Have investigared and Detroit is £350 and ARB is over £600 plus you need to get compressed air on board, which i dont want to do! Detroit will do the job fine, they don't lock on the road when you don't want them to and they do when the mud gets claggy!
Hi Oddi mate its the wrong way round a detroit is always LOCKED and unlocks when you need it to (hopefully) should only be used on rear axle for this reason![]()

at's what i found when i investgted, i want one, they are good but is it worth i - has it taken this long to get to the piont where you chaps realise i know what ah'm onaboot and want one for what it is!??!!!
