What is this metal part for? Help a girl figure out!

Hi everyone,

Could anybody help me identify these 2 parts? They are from a Landrover. Made of metal with a plastic screw top. it also slides. I feel like it is made to secure stuff but I really don't know.

Looks like quick release clamps for netting down bags or similar to stop rolling around. Note from the bend of the prongs going to a frame off angle to stand proud. Wild guess

Guessing they are after market tie-down strap anchor points. Off a roof rack perhaps?

The carparthian is a very expensive defender edition, so I would say they are for the newer shape defender, hence why nobody on this poverty struck forum knows what they are!
