Afternoon all,

2010 Puma 110 2.4
Sprung a leak yesterday and made a new puddle on my driveway to add to the various existing oil and fuel patches.

I dont know how the hose run is laid out on these vehicles but its a clear red fluid so Im guessing coolant.

Its dripping from a point just to the left (looking from rear to front) of the oil filter. A hose is fixed with a spring clip to a white plastic piece that attaches to what looks similar to a heat exchanger (metal block with fins - oil cooler according to the WSM) directly above the oil filter.

The actual leak seems to be from where the plastic end piece joins to the metal casting rather than from the hose end itself although its hard to get a decent look all around it.

I cant see how to detach the plastic connector to inspect/clean/fit new gasket etc or replace it.

Couple of questions for the folks that know stuff:

Firstly how do I remove this - is there a retaining nut on it somewhere or does it just pull out if I yank it hard enough?
Second, does anyone know how to identify this part so I can find a suitable replacement?

Photo attached, red drip visible by the plastic piece to left of oil filter.

EDIT I've added the WSM diagram, connection on the oil cooler circled in red
Any advice appreciated
Cheers

Hi Mystery, that's what I need.

I was trawling through LR Parts without a clue what I was looking for so much obliged.

Plus the schematic shows a retaining screw I hadn't spotted when I was crawling round underneath the Landy. Explains why I couldn't get it off.

Cheers for your help

Hi Gratch,

Yeah I wondered that when I saw the photo of it.

I didn't realise there was a thermostat or washer in there cos I couldn't get it off but now I know where the retaining screw is I will give it a clean up and a new O ring. No reason to think anything else is wrong with it tbh.

Cheers for the suggestion
