The so called temperature gauge on a p38, isn't. It won't start to creep up It will go from 'normal' to 3/4 is seconds, when it's already too hot. Followed swiftly by 'in the red'

It stays in the mid point from just over 80C to 105C then rises slowly to 110 before going rapidly into the red.

The book says it can sense all the way up to 130c! I assumed it was heavily damped because mine never moves from 12 o'clock once it's warmed up, but there's no mention of any dampening just a resistance value A/D converter.
I've just got an amazing thermostat most likely.

confirmed!
in winter i have to manually adjust the hvac to get warm otherwise it just trickles luke warm after to the footwell vents and the cabin doesnt get warm
this morning.. its already stinking hot inside and within a mile its blowing HOT air through the mid vents (left and right tempo set to 20)
