Ok. This is the first time I have used this forum so any help or printable suggestions would be usefull.
Subject is Freelander 1 HSE 2004 vintage. Had the car a month now and after pouring through this site it is obvious I need help starting with the following. Drivers side rear door corroded window seal/burnt out regulator motor. Drivers door mirror smashed. No CD changer under the seat?? Rear wash wipe pump dead(do you really have to take the front of the car to bits to replace???? Sunroof defunct. Need a navigation CD for the Becker 4765. AND the list will keep getting longer but I will see the prodject through as this is the thirty seventh and the last Landrover I have owned. Any help in finding parts (all the Landrover breakers seem to be North of Watford) or prodedure suggestions will be appreciated
Regards and good luck to you all Derek.

Burnt out regulator simplest is to buy the complete window regulator. The cable tend to rust due to lack of use. This causes the motor to strain then fail or snap the cable in the reel. Your looking thirty plus britpart eBay Amazon or Landrover retailers.
Could be worth downloading Freelander parts pdf someone on here got the link.
Wing mirrors best from a scrapper as they will be costly new. Andyfreelander still breaks down Freelanders near your location.
Does the front water wiper motor work okay if not could be just a fuse.
As for a cd changer depending whether the vehicle model was supplied by Landrover with it.
Window seal strip generally blow after length of age. Best from Landrover retailers or eBay.
Hopefully this helps.

Regulators are discussed frequently on here, sounds pretty straight forward.

The washer bottle is tucked away in the front drivers side corner, yeh, I'd imagine you would need to take the plastic bumper/valance surround off to get at it. Getting that off will be more fiddly than fixing the pump :D Worth doing though cos it'll probably have to come off again at some point, I've had mine off a few times. Problem is you may end up needing to drill out some of the many little screws around the bottom, they are what make it a PITA. If they come out, its not to bad a job. Helps if you have someone to help putting it back on to fit it in the clips. There are hidden bolts at the top of the surround that secure it to the wing (1 on each side accessed by pulling the wheel arch liner away some) - if you haven't removed them, it ain't coming off ;)

Wind mirrors are easy to replace, pull away the speaker on the inside of the door and you can see the 2 big screws and 1 littlun needed to undo. Make sure you get the correct model, there were at least a couple over the lifetime of F1. Can you not replace the glass?

You can change washer pump by releasing Edge of front rh wheel arch trim adn feeling behind it. Pump only clips into bottle and hoses push on. Connector is with a plug with a release clip. Buy tight, but saves work. Get someone to press front screen wash, feel the 2 x pumps and the rear is the other one!!

Let me know, have shelves of parts as above. Not so near Swindon, but do drive past sometimes.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned above but me personally would concentrate on the mechanical side of things to ensure they are all in good order?

The forum is a wealth of knowledge and help from the kind gents that frequent here

Good luck!

Look at ebay you fill find some parts, but the CD charger will be very hard to find ( new or used ) ... putting a new 2 din gps / cd unit with bluetooth will be more simple ...

I can confirm this is exactly the way to do the washer motor having done the front one on mine twice. Not too difficult at all but you'll get a wet arm.

Additionally I'd not bother with the Becker nav, it's complete garbage.
You're better off replacing it for something better. ;)
But if you do want disks, I've hosted the files you need to burn yourself some. Link and instructions are here;
