One of my kit cars has them. But then it does have wire wheels!Last time I had inner tubes the vehicle only had 2 pedals and both were go!

I drove it to work. It has developed an SRS air bag fault that is intermittent. The Nanocom won't arrive until the 8th April so I can't investigate until then

If the car has side airbags, it's likely to be the connector under the drivers seat or the passengers seat.I drove it to work. It has developed an SRS air bag fault that is intermittent. The Nanocom won't arrive until the 8th April so I can't investigate until then
Next on the list is the rotary coupler.

That makes sense, it only came on after I started messing with the drivers seat controls!

Common problem, reseat the connector.
Be very careful messing with any connectors/cables with yellow conduit on.
You could end up with a big white pillow in your face. So some say.

Never had a problem with parting and reseating the under seat connectors, when there are connector problems, the circuit makes and breaks constantly with no airbag response.
I have disabled the side airbags in mine as they are life expired, fitting a resistor to fool the ECU.

When i get the SRS light, i wiggle (technical term) the connection in and out, ignition off and back on and that usually sorts it. In my opinion is quite safe to do, otherwise the airbag would go off when you adjust the seat

Now Discovery 2s have this problem commonly, mine is/was the same. It was due to a dodgy connection under the driver's seat. If you can find one under there, check it out and undo remake the connection a few times then see if it has gone away?I drove it to work. It has developed an SRS air bag fault that is intermittent. Yellow block and wires in my case.

When i potch with any srs cables or anything I unplug the battery and leave it stand. Not worth the risk. That said they did not go off when i went over
Any pics of the kitcar Stan? I’ve been offered a couple over the years but always stayed away. Sort of thing I’d have to put every nut and bolt together myself to be sure, much like a LR

A serious question, if I disconnect the battery, is there any sequence after reconnecting? I am a 90 owner so this new fangled technology is all different to me!

The worst bit BEEP on a BEEP p38 is the BEEP helpfully telling you BEEP the windows and BEEP sunroof need to be set

Very valid question.
With P38 you are okay, from l322 on you need to be careful.
As Kermit says worst we have is resetting your window/radio settings
