there's a 200 going for £250 over on lr4x4

200 TDI engine, originally discovery.
DEFENDER 200 tdi turbo.
custom inlet manifold (modified 19J)
twin alternator mounts and tensioners, alternators not included.
ZF74 pump in custom bracket to work with existing belts.
about 1 mile of use on the clutch.
full running order.

Might be a daft question..... but why would you want to remove the viscus fan and replace with elecy one??

A good few people have said this to me but I dont get the advantage of electric fans. Surly its just another motor to fook up when you plough through the river?

i removed it for a simple reason , it's cos i got a disco injin in me 90 and they catch on the steerin box fingy ..... but they is lots of nuvver reasons aswell ...

I got one in the end Sean! I took peoples advice and bought a complete disco so as I could drive it and make sure everying was good! Paid £500 for it. Was rotten to fook underneeth but engine only had 100,000 on it and has 5 alloys with brand new all terrains on it (gotta be worth £200)
Have also taken axels and panels off it to help claw back some cash!

I would have, but the shell has gone to the scrapheap on Wednesday!

I did post a couple of posts askin if anyone wanted bits but didnt get any feedback so took what I thought had value and scrapped the rest!

all i need is the cable - i got everything else - the cable was pulled out on Salisbury - but i dont think i could find it there very easily. Maybe Grippa & Ratty will help look next time we are there?
