tyre questions now!

you'll be sick of me before long i bet!

i have it on very good authority that the disco wheels will fit my 90. at present i have 205r16 on of various makes 2 of them are mud n snow ones.

if i get 205/16 "normal" all terrain tyres might i see an improvement in mpg or is that hopeful thinking? i mainly use her on the road but venture down our field on dry days when we're doing fencing and the like.

i can get part worns from a local tyre place.

Why do yer ony do fencing on a dry day?! I have to do fencing even when its ****in down! PM Yella for a price of some Khumos. Yer won't go wrong wi them. I'm not sure you'll see much of an improvement in MPG. But they will be a lot quieter. And my 90 handles better wi 'on road tyres' than wi my usual mud terrains.

ha lol, our field is clay so i'll make a gawd damned mess if we do it in the rain. mother wouldn't be happy, horses wouldn't be happy, oh and don't like rain pmsl!

Don't worry about odd questions! I've asked a fair few mesself! Its all about learning. And the guys on here are excellent mentors! When I furst arrived at LZ I didn't know one end of a spanner from the other. Now I reckon I cud drop the gearbox out of my Landy blindfolded..! An I cud'nt of done it without the help of peeps on here! So stick around and join in the fun! And don't do what the lass on here did the other nite and cop the ump if people take the ****! Grin, laff and give as good as you get.. Coss we are a lovely bunch o peeps once you get to know us!

i think i need to go and hunt out said person - just for the laugh of it. i'm well used to being ribbed lol - my landy having a name and me refering to her by it has caused much hilarity amongst non landy friends.

i was casually discussing going to pick a rotavator up to someone and said "oh its ok i'll get it in beryl" the look of WTF was amazing lol.
