5 mins max, seemed they just wanted to go thro the motion to tick a box, but confirmed my accrued leave etc so should get what I'm entitled to.
Surprisingly they asked if I was available to work as a consultant from home if they ran into issues on the current Project....aye in their dreams.

Well, just been out, (in the drizzle) and jacked both rear wheels up, offside span just fine so dropped it down but totherun had a bit of friction, so tooked the wheel off and, sho nuff, one pad looks pristine and tother, typically the ione you can't see without doing this, ain't there! Well more or less.
So I have either a sticky caliper or a sticky piston.
So I fink I might try an order some new pads on line.
Or else go to Leclerc Auto, who won't have them on the shelf and see how quick they can get em.
Else it's a 40 mile round trip to Rob the specialist who'll have em in stock.
Typical this happens when Wifey wants to do a big shop on Thursday and yes tis the only day she can do it as it is "market day" in the local Ville.
Last time we come with only one car! GRRRRR!
Trouble is both of drive so lightly on our brakes. This tends to happen to us. Need to hammer em a bit more to keep pistons and slider moving!
Oh, and while under there discovered the rear axle, nearside has started to leak oil.
Never thort I'd be doing this much mechanicing so close to arriving here!!

A good splash of gear oil on the pistons and the discs every few months to keep them shiny

Is it not possible for the agent to have a minimum acceptable offer? ie. tell viewers who do go to them after the viewing ,that offers below a certain level will not even be passed on to the seller for consideration.Sadly not a joke, anything still on the market after 2 weeks attracts all sorts apparently

Apparently (so says the agent) by law he has to tell me all offers. I expect that is correct, I have no reason to doubt him.

If that's the law then he has no choice BUT he should be able to tell the potential buyer that their offer is well below others that have already been refused.

Ok, think I found the ingress point, damaged flashing ... shoved some Polly Styrene in there topped with spray foam as my access was compromised ....
A letterbox like gap through the tiles ... time will tell if we've improved it ..

A simple 2-way radio, commonly called a walkie talkie I believe.
I bought it four years ago as a good idea to enable me to communicate with my late husband when he was 'lost' somewhere in the garden and I needed to summon him for his meal etc. He didn't even try it as it had buttons to press and they were a technology too far.
The box has suffered from the dog's attention when he was just 10 weeks old and from being stuffed into the back of a cupboard ever since, but, fortunately, the contents remained untouched.
It needs a couple of AA batteries in each handset. I have NOT tested it out but have no reason to believe it will not be functioning.
Anyone find a use? kids play? other?
