Disco Tdi 200 oil pressure switch

Hi all, I've got a small problem with the wifes' Disco oil light - it never comes on !!

I'm sure this is either the bulb or the switch so I thought if I shorted out the switch that would test the bulb without having to strip the dash down.

But I don't know where the oil pressure switch is? Anyone got any pictures or a clear description?

Hi thebiglad, The location of the switch is at the side of the oil filter adaptor/mounting for the 200, same for the 300 and same for v8
i had a look in my parts book to find out.

Hi Discool, found the switch, shorted it out and the lamp lights, so have ordered new switch.

Tbh Discool, I didn't know the part no. but just went onto my preferred supplier of parts and there it was - simple

Thanks again for you help, I'm looking forward to when the part arrives and we have an oil light again.

Now, what's the next job???
