That is quite possible, And a case of MOT bloke has to say something, rather than a total clean bill;).

I’ve changed my test Centre after the last one failed Mrs Tricky’s car on an almost invisible rust hole in the sill. He managed to stuff a screwdriver through it, bast..d. :(

I would have stuck his screw driver in him and see how he likes it. Failing for the sake of failing and making money.

You know when I said the day before yesterday about how well everything on the old bus was working?

Guess what......................

I started her up at a sparrows fart 6.15am and I poke the "standard" on the height selector as i park her in access most of the time, but noting happens!

Which is puzzling as it worked great the day before, no issues lifting itself up...

So I sit there for 5 mins and she eventually rises up.......

Reservoir empty I thought, so i went to work and parked up, a good few hours later i started her up and all was fine....

o_O

Took her on a country jaunt, fine...

went to a nice secluded area to have a walk around and all good...

Came home...

And the compressor was warm but not excessively so, not "constant leak hot" just normal Warm...

I'm puzzled...

frog i have a paint rust bubble on my upper tailgate i take it then this can be repaired and painted , just the frame?
Depends just where the rust is and how serious it is, if, for example one of the corners is just barely hanging on then you have no chance, if it is just a bit of surface rust then treat it and re-paint.
My tailgate was starting to look shabby as it hadn't been done when the rest of her was sprayed, there was also some rust showing when the tailgate was raised, under the rubber seal. I removed the seal, drilled out the pop rivets holding the seal mounting strip, got all serious with a small wire brush in a drill and gave it a coat of Fertan rust killer.
Yesterday went all over the rest of the frame that is seen when it's shut with scotchbright, then wiped down with meths, then primer and satin black top coat. Did the same with the wiper arm as well as that was also a bit dull.
It took nearly as long to mask up as it did to prep and paint. Tomorrow I shall get a brush coat of Hammerite on the inside/bottom of the frame where the rubber seal goes - seems easier to me than masking up again with the tailgate open - and no-one can see that bit anyway.

Thanks, frog. It's very small and on the side it looks more like a paint bubbling and on the other side its just a crack in the paint. Its very minor but as the rest of the car is near perfect this is what i see. ;)

No, wish I could. I am looking to buy a garage but they don/t come up for sale in my area very often and the last 2 that did i missed out on as I was away.
Shame that buddy. Are you able to have space somewhere at home or where you park it for one of those big car tents??? or invest in an ex Army 12x12 tent and set that up.

I was going to do that for the Golden Girl, as I can't get her in the byre. Problem is the wind. Last night it was blowing at 45mph. Around here that's not even enough to get us talking about it. That only happens when we get into the high 60s.
Neighbour had a static caravan, until 2 years, ago. Now he has the chassis of a static caravan .So no tent for my girl :(

Suspension was magically all ok this morning, very odd this car.... o_O

Loads of tosspots on the road when I switched vehicles to come home, one pulled out infront of me, and one little shít with P plates sat behind and kept raising and lowering his high beams, presumably to píss me off, which it did..

However he did overtake me and a Black BMW which threw on the Blue lights and pulled him over! Aha!!!! :D:cool:

That made my day not gonna lie! :D

Justice was indeed done and you did well to ignore the little s**t. We have loads of them around where i live too. Pass their tests and think they are bloody Lewis Hamilton they do. I personally think the age of driving should be raised to 21 and being able vote age also to 21 and only if you have been in full time employment for over 12 months paying full stamp. That would would get a lot of numpties off the roads and put all those Corbyn knobbers back in their prams. LOL

In my book anyone who uses P plates is automatically a Richard with a D. You want a full licence, and think you're ready for it? Then you are not covered by any other allowances than I would give any other driver. Want a P plate to say you aren't sure of the rules of the road? Stay on your blood L plates!
Or on a nice day: want P plates to say you're a little unsure but not quite a learner? Then have restrictions on your licence. No driving your mates around, or your kids, only allowed to drive at certain times of day, stay off motorways at peak hours, lose your licence if convicted of a motoring charge ( including speeding) whilst on P plates.

Otherwise you're just another Dichard wanting special teatment.
