I know some posts on here have been interesting, to say the least . However, it stands out that someone would want to spray a car to match a door. Rather than spray the door, which is not on the car, to match the car!

i know of a red door with apparently working door lock window etc in it.
but then ...
door lock was out, fingers scratched to ****.
pulled the whole lock apart and checked it. well by a friend who dos things like that every day.
microswitches working as they should. connection test past.
put it back in tested it. working.
eka still not going in/

guess passenger door gets dismantled tomorrow.
especially c/l dosnt lock the other doors.
and the rear passenger door cant be opened . neither from inside not from outside even when the latch is up to open.

Then the door is probably superlocked. Provided the motors are working, you should be able to unlock it via the BECM connectors. C361 for left rear door, and C325 for right rear door.

I know someone selling a door. Red. Mine is green.
Its totally scratched to death but all works.aparently.
Which will be seen.

But its.only 80 quit.

I just dont think I need it as everything on the drivers door actually works as it should.
So passenger door tomorrow.

I see what I can get done tomorrow.
I open the passenger door first and see what I find in there.

So passenger door tomorrow.

Exept its not sending EKA code so you dont know whether its working or it's wrong code and until you get diagnostics on it your going round in circles...if your mate that's good at sorting cant tell you whats wrong at the moment your pxxxing in the wind...if you buy this known "working " door you wont know till you fit it and start from the beginning again...

I do know that.
Thats why I didnt.collect it.

I open the passenger door tomorrow.
If there is a fault.it would.also prevent the eka code.

I am allready thinking.of buying another 4x4 till I find the problem
Without spending couple of hundreds.more in it and its getting an endless moneypit.

Sorry I just dont see how to rectify spending quick 500 quit on an old car just to wait of more to spend on it.

And being allready 5 days without my own car I need.a running one before

That bloody nanoclm didmt show up and until its here I.am getting crazy

Passenger lock makes no difference to entering EKA. I think Marty charges around £75. If you can find the right microswitches then you can do ot a lot cheaper yourself. I showed the workings in some of my early posts some years ago.

Spoken to marty. He gave me some.hints what to do next. So I just try till this nanocom arrives.
I may lucky
If not once is here switch this dreaded immobiliser of and catch up on blowing emissions out i couldnt the last 6 days.
Then I know its running and its worth spending a bit more in it.

The passenger door won't have any effect on EKA entry.

If you can unlock the drivers door with the key, but none of the other doors unlock (aka the central locking isn't working) then this is NORMAL. Also it is somewhat normal for doors to go into superlock mode when the BECM goes into lockout. You should always be able to unlock the drivers door as it is a mechanical link between the key lever and the locking mechanism inside the latch, but other doors may or may not open depending on whether the superlocking motors actually still work.

Normally, if the EKA will be accepted in the drivers door (which yours isn't - either because the BECM has corrupted it when it's gone into lockout, or it's just simply the wrong code), on the final turn to unlock, ALL the doors will then power unlock, and the central locking will start working again, and allow you to start the vehicle/sync the key etc. At the current point in time, the other doors not responding is NOT a fault with a latch or anything like that - rather it is a sign that the BECM is locked out.

So I would hold off on the passenger door at the moment. If your drivers door lock all checks out, then I would get that back together and back in the vehicle. Your BECM is in lockout. You may get lucky and be able to recover it with the Nanocom when it arrives, but if not, then it is really starting to sound like the BECM is in an alarmed state, and this will require advanced diagnostics to connect to the CPU on the main logic board and reset the lockouts.

Sorry I can't offer any more good news than that at the moment - but everything you've mentioned and the fact that your door lock checks out, and the fact the other doors aren't doing anything all points to it being a BECM lockout issue, and I doubt the Nanocom will be able to solve this for you, especially if it's a V35 board that you mentioned earlier.

well i know by fact i will NEVER buy another range rover after that experience. it must be soo cheap to satisfy the parts. i keep that one because i never ever paid out on cars and scrapt it in my whole life.
well, once with an audi. still makers me angry and i never touched any audi since.
in fact i hate audi for that reason so much i dont even acknowledge them.
so this one needs to run for the next 2 years before i can sell it for the amount i bought it to make up for loss.

or i use it for off roading if it carry on with expensive problems.

i had blackbox solution on the phone. ordered nanocom on monday. they only processed the order today the lazy bastards. ( for that price they should run and get it sorted ) - so waiting another another 4 working days.
already thinking of buying another 4x4 in the meantime. - one that runs. lol.

i spoken to landrover after i told them what pile of rubbish it is when he told me they collect and get it fixed. - estimated 1200. i told him to go and f@@: himself i rather burn it.

so called the dealer which was helpful with the eka for the car and spoke to him going through the symptoms bit by bit.
now he told me if one door is super locked which appears its the stupid passenger rear door the becm will not accept the eka at all.
he said take the panel of and try to unplug and see if a test give me any details.

there is apparently a button you can use to unlock any super locked doors in the car on the foot well somewhere in the passenger side. but he warned me. pressing this would cause a problem on the central locking and need to be reset by land rover.

now how do i get this panel of while the door is shut.??
i am on the point just ripping the thing apart to go in there.

Here’s a long shot but easy to do.

Have you actually laid eyes on the BECM?
If you think the EKA code is going in properly but still not working. So next suspect is the possibility of somebody having changed the BECM.
Remove the drivers seat and if you are lucky then the EKA maybe written on it in marker pen, a lot of breakers do that when they remove them. May have to unbolt the BECM as it maybe on the bottom.

i did have the becm out. no writing on it. as i found some money on the side next to a lot of dust and spiderwebs i believe its original.
i just try not to spend the 100 quit at the moment for the becm. no office to marty and if nothing else i have to but if i can solve without spending anymore on it for now it was already a car made out of gold.

i seen something about c306 pin connection on the becm controls the stupid rear doors.
i need to investigate further which pin and how to apply power to the right cables to unlock this door.
if i dont find anything i get a door card for a from a scrapyard and just rip the one inside out.

seems there is no other way getting it out.

also resetting and re writing the solve the problem of a superlocked door as far as i am aware. it still has the problem.

so still need more spending on that bloody door.

As said earlier wait until you get the Nanocom. Your BECM maywell not be in an alarmed state now but it will be if you keep buggering about.

What do you think your going to achieve when you get the door panel off?

Did the dealer tell you the name of the mystery button?
