help.
I just had the dreade keylockout coming up on middle of leicetser.
Anyone around with a nancom.
I'll pay for help.

get ordered tomorrow. first thing disabled active immobiliser and alarm crap. next is coils before there comes another problem and this nanocom sits in the car,i hope it is worth the ridiculous amount of a mortgage. fed up with little **** ups and spending money in some overrated **** British technology cant build long lasting. - in fact the amount on different parts left and right not being the same size is amazing the car manages to get build in the first place.

they even managed to connect towbar wires with bloody isolation tape. and yes it has even land rover written on it.

first time i had a bloody car recovered in 20 years.
next time its a insurance payout.

Check the LZIR map.

Don't think many people will want to go to Leicester at the moment!

Get someone to disarm immobiliser and alarm and sort out RF interference issues properly and you'll probably never need more than the EAS cable and free software for £20.

At the end of the day it is a 20 year old luxury car. Most cars wouldn't even be left on the road at that age. It will go wrong again, it is just a matter of time. You'll probably spend a grand before it is reliable.

No one around here with nanocoms.
And tbf as they get coded to your vehicle for this mortgage amount i don't pay the extra 100 to use it on more then one.
And yes by now that bloody pile of steel and alumiun owes me 5 years driving for what I spend in it.

I ordered the nanocom on express delivery.
Still 3 working days.

Its towed back home. I wouldnt leave any car for thugs to steel or damage my property. I would rather sleep in it to kill the b@@@ who would try.

I triyng since 3 am in the morning with this eka code or synchronising this kayfob. Nothing works.

It dos use indicator by initializing the eka but as soon i try get the code in nothing is doing anything.
Just telling me engine disabled then the alarm gos off.
My neighbours do love me by now.

Depending which part of Leicester you broke down in that wouldn't bother them in the slightest - if you nodded off you'd probably not even notice it being jacked up & the wheels being pinched.

I take it it's a manual, as you got it towed?

Read up about key code lockout, try the search facility.
Done it. Multiple times. Everything what i could find.
It let initialize the eka start.
From there its nothing.

Apparently indicators should.blink sometimes too.
Nothing.

Called landrover dealers and none want to help checking if its the right code.
But offering another pile.of junk just more expensive with more problems.

Which I don't want.
I want this one I have.

And I will switch that immobiliser illness of as soon this nanocom arrives.
I just need to bring it of the road in the drive.

But any attempt doing this eka dosnt work.

You could have put a fuse of at least 5 amp in position 11 if my memory serves. This puts the transfer box in neutral so it
can be towed. You really must read the manual.

I know that.
I didnt want to damage more by towing it 40 miles across country.

Its enough paying for this nanocom now.
Just hope it solves the problem.
Seems nothing else.dos.

I called ir donky now. Thats what it is. Stubborn.
New fix method will be hammer and tape. No new parts for at least 2 years to cover the costs.

If you try entering EKA incorrectly too many times it will lock you out for good. Make sure you open and close the door after the second attempt. The fob won't sync until message is off the dash. If EKA isn't going in then door latch may be faulty. Martyuk has written some latch tests which are on here somewhere.

Mozz Smith is the master of the EKA.

i do open the door. but i have no means of testing this locks.
would nanocom do this check pr is it already doomed to be useless for this problem?

i just thought i could switch this immobiliser complete off as i seen in posts before?

to be honest i dont even know if the codes and numbers i have been given for the car actually right.

how would i know that ? al i can say its a 1996 p38.
just took the door panel of and shut the door walked away.
that is like china inside.
no idea where or what i am looking for inside.

so i sprayed a lot contact spray in it and see what it dos in 20 minutes.
may try a hammer next. i would not know what iam looking for inside the door or what i have to replace.

so i just thinking bite the sour apple get nanocom and delete all this stuff which can cause all this headache and keep it simple working to get the moneys worth back.
sorry but we just lost our little dog and was planning going seaside tomorrow. now is not happen.
