Remember that laser rust remover which cost thousands of dollars...?
Well, I got this advert sent me, which offers to flog one extraordinarily cheaply
https://aa.fleeone.life/products/ru...iSf4V-LMpBsCqCxvULbrBHBKu6G-qeK0PIBuUimsvXH1c
It's over £100 so the credit card company will be liable to refund me my money if I'm bilked, so I'm tempted to give it a go, but being naturally suspicious, I don't believe the offer, and I'm reluctant to take on all the hassle which having to chase it up would entail if it were a swindle.

When it looks to good to be true and all that, is what I'm thinking.
Looking on their website, they advertise the product while showing videos of a different product in use.....

And then there is: https://de-reviews.com/margaretcallig-best/ - But that is only one website review.
I like to look for a physical address, and indeed this site didn't have one. Another thing to look out for is a physical address which is a serviced office. There was one advert whose advertiser's site gave a contact address in London, which when I Google Mapped it, turned out to be a Regus "office-hire-by-the-hour" building.

Funny how we’ve developed a style of red slapped with black stripes isn’t it :D
Looking good and still can’t believe you’ve had to do this to such an extent. Will be mint though!
We still need to devise the mud guard strategy. I’m going road cone and heat gun I think

I'm going for lots of primer, lots of paint and then dinitrol over it and reapplying regularly.

Was quite happy with the Motip stone chip as my front inner arches are in quite good order still but they needed a bit of attention this year on the way through.

I love it that we use it for seam sealing but others have a random notion that it constitutes a full on repair lol

Are you using puraflex? Don’t get it on your forearm, sit down with a coffee and put your arm on the sofa arm now will you :rolleyes:

Hahaha, not done that, was too busy with the white spirit getting it off the kitchen sides where I was making tea, didn't dare sit down on the couch, crucified I would have been  I'm using Tiger seal, sticks like sh!t to a blanket and goes soft again under the Hammerite top coat so should stop it from suffering the usual water underneath it.

I watched some burd on RedTube trying out tow balls of pick up trucks in America, think next week she is doing king pins on artic trailers, grease an all  :eek:

Bit more done today :)

Had family stuff in the morning and packing up early as I have to go to the hospital.

But every bit done is a bit less to do.

Quick patch on the floor to the box section all seam welded in and the steel of that side panel is terrible with lots of spatter and terrible welds, very unimpressed.

Did the patch on the angle too and then set about the outer patch needed on that side panel, turned out lovely.

All primed now ready for seam sealing later when I get back from the hospital.

More to come later.

Was out a bit longer than planned so didn't get the seam sealing done but it's fine, tomorrow is another day :)

After all, it has been painted with primer and it's a hot an dry night so not like it's going to be rusting into oblivion over night :D

If I get up early enough then I should be able to get the last plate in there to complete the puzzle and then finish welding in the arch completely.

Been busily thinking about the fitting of the Webasto aux heater, and the on board air, both are future projects but I ought to be getting my head round it now, I might need to make up some brackets and bits to go in under the boot floor for the air tank. Still think that the Webasto should be fitted in the engine bay and plumbed into the heating system.

I've read a few blogs about fitting them in camper vans and canal b***s, really need to get firm plans but so many options, it's an enigma wrapped in a conundrum that's for sure.

Your welding is so neat! I’m out on mine at the moment and have another boot panel ready to go in but worried I’ll lose all water in my body by sweating welding and don’t wanna keep getting the welding tan from t shirt welding!
I’ve just half fed loom back through to work out and remind myself where bits have to go . Might open up the bay and start marking and fertanning the bits that need to be chopped.

Practice, lots of practice makes the welds turn out nice. Some of it is a bit garbage in aesthetics but it's structurally sound and that's all that counts.

I've been and done my chores this morning so am going to get the work gear on to tackle a bit more, far too hot for my leather welding jacket so I won't be going in for the upside down stuff today lol :D

It is always a bind trying to remember which way stuff went and where when it's been apart for a long time.

Dreading seeing how bad the front end is on yours now after seeing how bad the back end has been
