Hi Aall, new to the forum looking for a bit of advice/back on how to remove the Reverse light connector on my 11 plate 110 Utility. Connector feels loose but there seems to be an arrow head or bayonet stop within the female part

Hold the bulb holder and turn the lens anticlockwise and pull apart. (its in the owners handbook)

Hi Windowdriver, apologies I don’t think I explained myself very clearly... I was asking about the Switch that screws into the G/box.

FYI, I’ve managed to unclip the two and having belled both male and female out, it appears that I don’t have a live feed to the actual rear lamp itself.....

Could this be an earth problem?

PA Thankyou Brian

I mean PS obviously (smashed screen having fallen out of Landy typing )

Unlikely to be an earth problem. The earths from the rear end (heated rear screen, lights etc) are routed to the right (drivers side) side of the transfer box if you need to check, but if the other lights are working ok I'd say the earth is not your issue. 99% certain it will be the reverse light switch (had to replace mine last year for the MOT as its a fail if the reverse light not working). The switch switches the live feed, so you can test by bridging the female connectors in the plug you have just disconnected.
FYI to remove the female connector you need to depress the clip on the side of the connector and pull it.
