Looking great. You can set the headlights yourself with a tape measure and a wall with a bit of flat ground in front of it. You need to measure the height of the centre of the headlights, make a few easy calculations and mark the wall with chalk, then adjust to match up - google is your friend for the complete technique.

Setting the height isn't too much of a problem, it's the sideways adjustment that has me stumped. How far to the left should they be or should they be dead straight ahead and let the reflectors light up the correct area?

Cheers David , you just buy 90degree weld bends.

I "cheated" by marking the wall first using the lights from a car that had passed the MoT, that way you have a pair of horizontal reference marks. I don't think the sideways adjustment is as critical as long as they point towards the kerb.

I adjusted the headlights on my black defender and was told they were too low. Only an advisory but if too high it would have failed.
