Been quite happy with my 2.5 manual and all going pretty well lately. However, think I have just done a deal on a 4.6 Vogue, for no other reason than it was cheap..and shiny.
Hasn't been used for a year and owner just parked it up and now wants rid, so now mine..!
Picking up at weekend, (trailered) and looking at a lot of work no doubt, but project for the next year.
I will post here as it goes on and..see you all in the asylum..

Last V8 I had, had a spare wheel on the boot lid and was called a P6.

Wasn’t that the 1 that used to wind the red tape across the speedo:) I remember it:eek:
Never had the spare wheel on the boot though:(.

That's the one, not many people realised you could unscrew the boot badge and the spare fitted straight on..oh and it had carburettors.

Atlast one with the proper Range Rover Engine ;)

Not that wheezy old diesel ;)

What colour is it?

Any pics?
I'll get some pics at the weekend, colour is Oxford Blue, cream leather and I think, Hurricane wheels. Gas conversion, which will be a mystery to me.

Restoring a P6 cut this lot out last week luckily it's got a continental boot lid so spare sits there...lol

Only if it had the continental boot kit fitted...underside strengthner needs to be there..

Good. That'll give you some practice at head gaskets.

You'll need fresh petrol if it has been sat for a year.

After the dropped liner is fixed:rolleyes:
Thanks Mr Datatek, I knew I could rely on you to spot that one, I will be coming to you no doubt with all those bizarre lectric gremlins on this one. The DSE was relatively straightforward. Don't feel I will be so lucky this time..:):)
