Ah right - yet to get there. The modification makes a lot of sense!! Hopefully water/mud just runs out. I'm liking how properly this is being done! No corner cutting

One more for good luck!

Did have an “ooops” moment today.......

Had my own mini “Yorkshire”.

That bit of scorched earth will come back greener than the rest ya know

Good to see my welds were good and strong, albeit in the wrong place

Ready for Friday?

Monster weldathon coming up me finks, I got the scaff pole butt clamp for the roll bar in the back of the van, we could cut it in two, test fit the sill and get it welded on to the box section good and strong before it goes back in?

I ain’t touching yo butt clamp.
Slow but steady methinks ;)

I forgot to order the front body supports for the offside, but they can wait for a while.

but more panel manufacturing today....

Nicely done that is! As you know and I'm learning the tidier and neater the fit and panel, the better the weld and end result. Looking forward to seeing these go on.

An interesting evening tonite.
Repositioning the sill and tacking the body mounts in place. Making sure they lined up with the outriggers and making seat mounting holes in the floor, ready for the main floor support.
pics laters.

A couple more pics. Nothing looks much different, but the sill is positioned one inch further forward, as otherwise it wont allow for the A pillar attachment.

Because of this, the front support bracket also had to be moved back. All tacked into position now except for the centre floor support and the small floor support panel, which is usually used as a sill closure.

We are getting there :).
