Disco 2 Disco 1 to Disco 2 wheel adapters

Hi all

First post since moving from RRC to Disco forum so be gentle,


I’d hoped to use the wheel and tyres package id purchased for my RRC before I sold it on my 2002 Disco 2 but obviously now have the 5x165 to 5x120 PCD issue.


Has anyone ever seen any kind of adaptor to make the larger wheels fit the smaller hub before I fork out for another x5 new black 8x16” modular’s??

After reading that!!!!!!! im just going to spend the £240 on a new set of x5 Modulars and sell the old ones, thats horrific!!!!!!!!

I bought a set of those, but silver ones... not sure why but the corrosion started to set in within about 12 months ... but for the price, they are not bad at all, especially since they allow access to a wider size range of tyres

Yea thats the ones, this is the set i had on My RRC, the tyres have only done a coupld of thousand so £185 for a new set of modulars is fair enough, sure ill sell on the old ones no problem.

My plan is to get a set of Disco 1 steels and get the centres flipped, maybe even get them banded out but not sure I'll bother as the narrow rim will help keep the beads seated when aired down.
