RAVE - explain like I'm five ...

OK, I am better with things that go brum-brum, than with things that go click-click. I'm an idiot, I'm sure, but I have downloaded the RAVE manual from a link posted here, and I can't make sense of it. It came as a zip file, which I extracted into a folder I called Rave CD. What is in there is three folders (Rave Tutorial, pdf and indexes), a file called RAVE which Windows can't open (it's 0 kb), three PDFs (rave-lr, tutorial, welcome), a file called autorun.inf and an .ico file. Nothing larger than 122 kb, and the total download was over half a gig. The folders don't contain anything recognisable as a workshop manual.

Obviously I have done something wrong, but what? Explain like I was a rather dull toddler, please.

Double click on the one that has application listed to the right hand side.

Click accept on the grey box

On the Rave box, click on it.

on the library box click on the vehicle you want.

OK, lapdog fired up again ...

I can't see a box that I can click to 'accept'.
If I click the RAVE icon, I get an 'Open With ...' dialog.
Nothing is listed as an application. This is what I have:

Ah, misunderstanding. The 'green oval' I was talking about is just the icon. I don't have the application that you have.

Windows 7, ver 6.1.

From a link on here, in a thread about cruise control, I think. It was a link to a dropbox file. It looks as though what I have is corrupted in some way. I will try a different link, if I can find it again. Thanks for your patience, guys.

I downloaded a RAVE zip file a few years ago and it included the whole range of LRs available at the time, and then I only had a 2Gig hard drive.
